I think my house has been deep cleaned more times in the past 6 weeks than it ever has before. There’s not a surface that hasn’t been attacked with cleaners and rags -from the floors to counters to windows and baseboards. Not to mention things like door handles, cabinets and faucets.
While cleaning is an incredibly therapeutic task for me, I’ve learned there’s a right way to clean and a wrong way.
Thick wads of paper towels -Wrong Way
Chemical-based cleaners -Wrong Way
Expensive cleaning products -Wrong Way
Ok, so maybe those aren’t wrong, per se, but with just a little bit of education we know there are MUCH better ways to clean.

Benefits of Cleaning with Non-Toxic Ingredients
It shouldn’t come as a surprise to you that lots of conventional cleaning products are filled with pretty powerful chemicals. That’s what does the heavy lifting of cleaning, right? Without chemicals we can’t actually get anything clean?
While I do think there are some places that may need a little help from a stronger substance (i.e. your toilet bowl) cleaning with and letting harsh chemicals just hang out in your home isn’t doing anyone any favors. One of the reasons I’ve come to appreciate Infuse so much is because they use a non-toxic formula in their concentrates that’s free from carcinogens (cancer causing particles), phthalates, parabens, and endocrine disrupters.
So, spritz away in that unventilated bathroom without worry of a migraine flaring up! Clean around your pets and kids without fear of causing sickness. Believe me, I’ve tried every formula Infuse makes ( bathroom, surface cleaner, floor cleaner, window cleaner, etc.) and not a headache or worry in sight!
How to Save Long-Term on Your Cleaning Products
I’m a pretty thrifty person and I love to find ways to save money on those items we all need to purchase over and over. So, let me tell you one of the best things about Infuse products: they’re reusable.
Infuse products like the mop and the microfiber mop pads are a one-time purchase. No more needing to buy expensive, disposable mop pads. Instead, after cleaning, just take off the mop cloth, throw it in the washer, and it comes out fresh and ready for the next clean.
For reference – one Infuse microfiber pad at Target costs $7.99 and lasts over 100 uses.
That’s so much cleaning you can do! The same savings are found with their cleaning cloths that you can use over and over instead of buying paper towels that just end up in landfills anyway.
And, as a huge bonus they’re found at Target and online at target.com so no need for a special trip just for cleaning supplies.
Easy Tips on How to Clean Your Home
If you’re lacking motivation or direction on how and when to clean, I suggest coming up with a daily, weekly and monthly chore chart to keep you on track.
DAILY CHORES
- Sweep the kitchen
- Wash the dishes
- Run the dishwasher
- Tidy up blankets, chairs, clutter
- Wipe down counters
WEEKLY CHORES
- Clean bathroom surfaces
- Mop floors
- Vacuum floors
- Laundry (throw in those Infuse cleaning cloths to get them ready for your next clean!)
- Kitchen nooks and crannies (stovetop, shelves, etc.)
- Dust
MONTHLY CHORES
- Wash windows
- Door handles
- Wipe down cabinets & knobs
- Scrub bathroom nooks and crannies
- Baseboard
Of course, your home may vary a bit depending on kids, pets, etc. but come up with a good system and stick to it! And for me, a huge part of enjoying the process of cleaning is finding a good system and having a well-stocked cleaning supply. Infuse is the perfect brand for this because their formulas come in a concentrate that you just add water to inside the reusable spray bottle so they’re easy to buy in quantity and store in a pantry or cabinet.
Now, when I clean I know exactly what to reach for and how it will work.
