Without a doubt autumn is my favorite time of the year. From fall fashion to fall food, I just can’t resist sweater weather. Because Greenville, SC is a Northern Southern town (with some spectacular mountain neighbors), we get a beautiful fall that lasts a lot longer than cities like Charleston or Atlanta. And beyond the cooler temps, I love the style options that come with our Southern fall. From flowing dresses to sweaters and shorts, it’s the perfect chance to play around with outfit combinations that are as unique as they are genuine.
I saw this dress in my local Anthropolgie on one of my weekly store walk-throughs. For my birthday my parents had sweetly given me a gift card to my favorite store, so I was bound and determined to use it in conjunction with Anthro’s birthday gift to me (15% off!) In typical Emily fashion, I walked through the entire store twice once before running across a previously unseen rack of dresses. It was love at first sight.
Made of the softest fabric with a beautiful drape and fit, I tried this dress on and couldn’t not make the purchase. A delicate leaf pattern dances across the fabric and the long sleeve, convertible style makes it a perfect fall transition piece. I paired mine with my favorite pair of booties for a little extra kick of cooler weather style.
