Apple Picking Outfit Ideas
The number one thing I always check during any outdoor fall activity is the weather. Fall in Greenville is very unpredictable. You may get a beautiful fall day that's 60 and sunny or it could be 80 and humid.
For days that trend a little warmer I love pulling out my lightweight plaid button up shirts and light waffle knits. This one from Grayson is on repeat all through fall. It's called their "liquid flannel" and it's the coziest, but still lightweight shirt in my fall closet. They also just launched the same pattern/fabric in a dress that is going on my wishlist!
Waffle knits are perfect for a warm or early fall outfit. Buy them slightly oversized or in a henley style for some visual interest. I just picked up this one from Amazon for only $20 and it was the perfect top for our recent fall adventures.
Keep things simple with a pair of comfy denim - see my favorite pairs here - and add a pair of Chelsea boots (with a chunky sole for a trendy vibe) to complete the look. If you want to add more of a fall flair a statement hat - be it a floppy hat, fedora, or suede baseball hat - is always a great way to add more of a touch of fall without getting too hot.
For a cooler weather day embrace it fully with a cropped cable knit cardigan and high rise black denim. Or layer up with a pair of leggings, my favorite oversized sweatshirt and a denim jacket.
