I love wearing white. Give me all the white denim and white tops and I’ll find 10,000 outfits to wear. Of course, I always have to carry a Tide to Go pen with me – because I spill everything – but it’s worth the risk. On our first day in Charleston I knew wanted to shoot this outfit because what goes better with a picturesque city than a classic white and denim look?
What I love about white so much is the versatility of the color. It can pair with any color or any other neutral effortlessly and although it often gets thrown into summer looks, a classic ivory skirt or cream silk top is perfect for any time of the year.
But for this look, I pulled out one of my favorite springtime combos with a light wash denim jacket (one that has been in my closet since early college days) a white tee and white denim skirt. It’s one of the easiest outfits to pull together, especially with the addition of my latest shoe find – these Madewell mules.
Dress it up with heels and some gold jewelry or keep it casual by adding white denim pants for a little more warmth.
Our Friday in Charleston was spent dodging raindrops in the Cannonborough neighborhood as we wandered the streets and stopped into a new favorite coffee spot – The Daily.
I’ll be sure to outline exactly where we went and what we did for you all in a Charleston Travel Guide next Monday!
I have no doubt you have at least one of these pieces in your closet already to create this classic combo. I love that all of these pieces are so versatile (I’ve worn this skirt on the blog here as well) and you can pair them easily with unlimited outfits.
So if you’re planning a trip to Italy, Charleston, or just the grocery store – keep an outfit like this in mind for every day wear.
